Fishing

Chintsa boast an abundance of fishing options from deep sea to freshwater. The beach is accessed via the slipway for deep sea fishers who will need a key from the ski boat club to gain access to the beach.

Beach fishing or off the rocks is a short walk down the beach where beautiful flat rocks allow for easy access to gullies just off the rocks. The lagoon although not massively abundant with fish is great for the kids to throw a line in and practice catching or try their luck at catching crabs. Down the road at Glen Gariff one can get a permit to go muscling.
