Working remotely in Chintsa: This could be your daily routine!

To wake up with the sunset on your face as you walk along the pristine Chintsa beach is something special! This could be your everyday routine…wake up, make a coffee, say hi to the Nguni cows as you walk to the beach, come home take a shower and sit down to start your day filled with enthusiasm.

Chintsa is a 25 minute drive from East London and a 15 minute drive from Crossways Spar. We tend to do one shop a week or even one every two weeks to minimise our time in the city. Lets be honest if you coming to work in a place like Chintsa you are aiming to spend as little time in the city as possible and Chintsa affords you this with ease. Its close enough to get your essentials when you need them and far enough to keep you from popping in whenever you want to.

Chintsa East & West are beautiful quaint villages with untouched wild spaces all around them. A short walk and you are surrounded by nature. Chintsa is home to many “digital nomads” including ourselves. There are cafes to work from with free wifi, a small but well set up office space with two cafes downstairs and a pub next door. The people are friendly, the weather is great and its about as safe as you can get in South Africa! Yes the roads have something to be desired but we would swop a poor road for a safe place to stay any day:)

There a plenty of accommodation spaces available from airbnb’s, beach lodges, camping to hotels and five star retreats. Come and have a holiday, meet some locals and ask them if they enjoy living in Chintsa:)
